13. Romany Excel Expedition

For a long time, larger and smaller paddlers were forced to use kayaks ill-fitted to their stature. We pride ourselves in offering a range that provides kayaks designed to perform for every paddler.

Drawing from the beloved design of the Romany Surf, the Romany Excel Expedition has been amplified in all dimensions and lengthened to enhance volume and speed. Ideal for individuals weighing 16+ stones (102+ kilograms) embarking on journeys, this kayak boasts ample volume and waterline length to accommodate all equipment at a comfortable cruising speed.

This kayak incorporates a specially shaped foredeck suitable for larger feet up to size 12/13 UK. Featuring the largest and widest keyhole cockpit in our range, it provides extra legroom thanks to raised areas on each side of the cockpit. The hull shape is distinguished by its boxy hull profile compared to the Romany Classic range, the Romany Excel Expedition ensures stability and connectivity on the waves, optimizing the paddling experience for larger adventurers.
