The versatile cockpit shape allows most paddlers to adjust their knee position, choosing between a high centre position for maximum drive and efficiency or a wider stance for enhanced control and stability.
Originally crafted as a race trainer, the Cadence features a hull designed by the late Alistair Wilson, a renowned performance athlete and the original owner of Lendal paddles, complemented by Nigel Dennis's deck design. Diverging from our other models, the Cadence comes equipped with a rudder, we offer two options—kayak sport or smart track—based on customer preference.
While excelling in flatwater touring and training, the Cadence isn't optimised for conditions exceeding sea state 2. Standing out as a swift and enjoyable training and touring kayak, it caters to enthusiasts seeking speed and adventure on tranquil waters. To fully leverage the kayak's design and maximize its speed, it is recommended to opt for the Carbon Kevlar specification.
