This kayak pays homage to traditional Inuit aesthetics with its characteristic upturned stern, hard chined construction, and a round cockpit that slopes down to the rear deck. Featuring a hull with a single chine and a front deck merging three chines into one, the Greenlander combines impressive speed with sleek aesthetics.
In 2000, this kayak was used on an expedition to Greenland, local hunters subsequently bought several of these kayaks to hunt from hunting. Ex UK Prime Minister David Cameron famously said in a speech about British manufacturing that
‘We even have a kayak manufacturer who sells kayaks to the Greenlandic Inuit.’
